According to San Juan de la Cruz, for the soul to reach the highest level of spirituality it must resist three temptations: the world, the flesh and the devil. The world being the easiest enemy to resist, the devil the most complicated and the flesh the most tenacious of all.
I have noticed in my photographic work that these temptations are always present. The exhibition at the Galeria Leme “Cautelas” (San Juan de la Cruz gave the same title to his ensemble of rules) portrays these temptations as encountered in everyday day life.
