LUIZ BRAGA PARTICIPATES IN TERRA EM TRANSE, GROUP EXHIBITION AT MUSEU AFRO BRASIL

Opening this Saturday (9/18), at the Museu Afro Brasil, in São Paulo, the collective exhibition “Terra em Transe” brings together 600 images by 60 photographers, including Luiz Braga.

Curated by Diógenes Moura, the show proposes a reflection on the past, present and future, based on photographs that portray Brazil and its historical and current events, such as protests in the military dictatorship and in recent periods, fires in the Pantanal and the Amazon, the environmental disaster in Brumadinho, the fire in Cinemateca Brasileira, among others. The title “Terra em Transe” is derived from the movie of the same name by filmmaker Glauber Rocha.
