As a miniature of the infinite that surrounds us, the mineral, the liquid and the sublime are organized in a way to rebuild the invisible relationships that support the planet in its perennial orbit: gravity, the force that literally takes us to the ground and nudges the world\u2019s inertia. \r\n\r\nMarcelo Moscheta\u2019s landscapes generate intense and essential emotions, that are, for a long time, asleep in our culture. Using it as an external reference, Moscheta speaks of his admiration for the expeditions of the past to remote and unexplored places. As an explorer and archeologist \u00ac\u00acwho visits another planet where the landscape is strangely familiar to him, he collects, classifies and organizes rocks, discover places, creates and explores, through various media, this fictional planet that he shares with us in this exhibition. \r\n\r\nLUA is a big proportion drawing (240 x 240 cm) made with graphite on expanded PVC plate and split into 9 panels that resemble a giant TV, formed by several smaller ones, in which the image is fragmented subtly. The image of the full moon with its geographical accidents creates a geometric contrast with the concrete walls of the gallery, breaking the spacial monotony of the strait angles and balancing the space with its inevitable presence. \r\n\r\nOn the opposite side, creating a narrow dialogue between concept and form, there is the installation MAR\u00c9 [vers. 1.3], where a motoreducer vertically moves old projectors giving life to the static waves projected side by side. His installation imitates the movement of the oceans in a raw and mechanical way, as the devices, cables and machines used for handling the 3 projectors are apparent in contrast with the lightness and simplicity of water shown in its frozen motion. \r\n\r\nDistributed along the axis lua - mar\u00e9 there are 14 drawings of the series PEDRAS. In them, the gross mineral dialogues with the frame and the work basis made of iron, tracing a doble-way path when presenting the matter\u2019s transformation into its own 2D image and also in its concept of presence and belonging \u2013 attached to the stones are the geographic coordinates of the exact places where they were collected. \r\n\r\nTHE SUMMIT SERIES is an installation with 20 small backlights, showing mountain peaks, hills and mountain chains in a fantastic way.\r\n\r\nBOMB; a suitable photo of a chandelier is shown inverted, referring to a nuclear explosion. \r\n\r\nFinally, the installation P.M.a.G. | [p\u00f3lo magn\u00e9tico anti-gravitacional | 62 pedras] where 62 photographs of stones seam to float on a light ring, giving lightness to the represented rock, that seams to be levitating on the anti-gravity surface of another planet.\r\n\r\n\r\nAbout the Artist \r\n\r\nMarcelo Moscheta (S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 do Rio Preto, 1976), lives and works in Campinas. \r\nHe is graduated in Arts at UNICAMP with a master's degree in visual arts at the same university, under the guidance of Luise Weiss and research on large format  \r\nengraving. \r\n\r\nSolo Shows: Latitude, Galerie Anita Beckers, Frankfurt (2008);
