The show will also feature other works that highlight the characteristics of her work, such as a music box, about one meter tall, with a ballerina dancing to a soundtrack composed by DJs Tony Beatbutcher Roger and Dee. For those who love animals, the exhibition will have a three-meter-long stuffed cat that purrs when cuddled.\r\n\r\nThe curious title of the exhibition is associated to the term \u201cSerendipty\u201d created by British writer Horace Walpole, in 1754, in reference to the Persian children\u2019s tale \u201cThe Three Princes of Serendip\u201d and its character\u2019s ability to discover things by accident. \u201cChance\u201d, which leads to exciting discoveries, is the thread of the exhibition, as the sketches of the works presented have emerged at a time of relaxation.\r\n\r\n\u201cWhen I discovered this term, I immediately felt it was related to my work, because it describes one of the techniques for the development of creative potential, ie, \u201cchance\u201d that had to happen, a discovery that comes through perseverance and sense observation\u201d says the artist.\r\n\r\nNina gained notoriety by painting delicate girls with big and expressive eyes, which mix a dose of ingenuity with a feminine delicacy and a touch of sensuality. Over time the works gained new characters, such as cats, bees, fish and other small animals, always portrayed with her characteristic brush strokes.\r\n\r\nAbout the artist:\r\n\r\nNina Pandolfo was born in Tupa, S\u00e3o Paulo in 1977. Lives and works in S\u00e3o Paulo.\r\n\r\nNina Pandolfo participated in several national and international exhibitions, including: Feelings, Lazarides Gallery, London, England (2012); Challenging Dreams, Galeria Leme, S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil (2010); Life\u2019s Flavour, Carmichael Gallery of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, USA (2010), Re-Criation II, Ogilvy & Mather New York, USA (2010), Graffiti Gone Global, Miami Beach, USA (2009), Between Us, Gallery Maskara, Mumbai, India (2008); to Our Eyes, Galeria Leme, S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil (2008); The graffiti Project \u2013 painting the facade of Kelburn Castle, Glasgow, Scotland (2007), among others. In 2011 she released her first book.
